In its 2014 report the European Commission estimated the social cost of rail and road traffic noise in the EU as being EUR 40 billion per year (European Commission, 2014).

According to the WHO report (WHO, 2011), at least 1 million healthy life years (200 million working days) are lost every year in western Europe due to health effects arising from noise exposure to road traffic alone.

The Ariane 5 launcher is now making use of Basotect® in order to protect the sensitive satellites against the high sound pressure during lift-off.

ki je izdelana iz odpadnih recikliranih materialov.

Revolucioniranje akustike v navtiki: Pot FNT-ja s inovacijo »Sound- lock« FNT d.o.o. je mlado inovativno podjetje, specializirano za razvoj in proizvodnjo zvočne izolacije nove generacije, imenovane Sound-lock. Ta revolucionarna tehnologija, ki temelji na Force-Network Technology, omogoča izdelavo izolacije iz statre zmlete gume, in drugih zmeltih odpadni materialov, kar prinaša izjemne lastnosti v primerjavi s tradicionalnimi izolacijskimi materiali. Namen naše operacije je uvesti to inovativno rešitev na trg zvočne izolacije, predvsem v navtični industriji. Sound-lock izolacija se uporablja za zmanjšanje hrupa motorjev in električnih generatorjev na jadrnicah in jahtah, kar omogoča bolj mirno in udobno okolje za uporabnike plovil. Finančno podporo smo pridobili v obliki 54.000 EUR subvencij, kar nam je pomagalo pri nadaljnjem razvoju, vzpostavitvi proizvodnje in postati samostojni. Te subvencije smo pridobili preko razpisa P2, ki spodbuja mlada in inovativna podjetja. Naši cilji so bili vzpostaviti trdne temelje za uspešen vstop na trg zvočne izolacije v navtični industriji. Z željo po zadovoljitvi specifičnih potreb ciljnega občinstva smo razvili Sound-lock, ki se je izkazal za izjemno učinkovito in inovativno rešitev. Rezultati operacije vključujejo uspešno lansiranje izdelka na trg, pridobitev strateških partnerjev in zadovoljstvo strank z učinkovitostjo izolacije.

Naložbo sofinancirata Republika Slovenija in Evropska unija iz Evropskega sklada za regionalni razvoj.
